Sentencing on hold in BG homicide case Published 6:00 am Tuesday, August 11, 2026Daivon ThompsonThe sentencing for a man who previously pleaded guilty for his role in the death of a Bowling Green resident will be delayed while his co-defendant wishes to withdraw her guilty plea. Daivon Thompson, 27, made a brief appearance Monday in Warren Circuit Court for a status conference in his ongoing case. Before a scheduled sentencing hearing last month, however, Anthony informed Warren Circuit Judge Chris Cohron that she wished to withdraw her guilty plea, and her attorney, Neal Tucker, was allowed to withdraw from the case. That affects the status of Thompson’s case, because the plea offers extended to both defendants are contingent on their both being accepted.
