Hyderabad is facing continuous downpours as the weather department predicted two more days of heavy rainfall. The forecast indicates that the weekend will witness heavy rains across Ranga Reddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri, and Hyderabad districts. Heavy traffic congestion was reported at Madhapur, Gachibowli, Khajaguda, Kukatpally, Miyapur, and surrounding areas. Rains disrupted movement across multiple junctions, with key bottlenecks reported around Madhapur, Hitec City, and the Financial District, where commuters experienced extremely slow traffic movement. Traffic police from Hyderabad, Cyberabad, and Malkajgiri commissionerates deployed personnel at key junctions to regulate movement, clear waterlogged stretches, and restore traffic flow alongside HYDRAA and DRF field units.
