The celebration was organised after The Manors was unable to hold its usual annual summer fayre. A spokesperson for Karbon Homes said: "Residents at The Manors Extra Care scheme enjoyed an afternoon of fun, entertainment and community spirit at a special summer party held in July. The venue was transformed with fairground stalls including Candy Floss, Hook a Duck, Tin Can Alley, and a Coconut Shy. Residents took part in games with prizes including sweets, popcorn, candy floss, and novelty plastic goldfish. Organisers said the event raised more than £500 for the residents' fund.
