Justin Currie, Sally Magnusson and Dougie Donnelly were among the guests at the Aye Write festival in 2025. It has also revealed that the new-look Aye Write will feature “an expanded range of Gaelic and Scottish language content”. Glasgow Life also pledged that additional one-off pop-up and podcast events will be staged throughout 2027 as part of the shake-up of Aye Write. An announcement from Glasgow Life on Aye Write said the festival was evolving “to create an even better experience for book lovers while welcoming new audiences”. Aye Write programmer Bob McDevitt said: “I’m really looking forward to welcoming some brilliant authors to Glasgow this autumn as part of our Aye Write Presents series.
