DCI Arrests Six Over Suspected Trafficking of 3 Indian Nationals

Detectives have arrested six people and rescued three Indian nationals in a suspected human trafficking case in Ruiru, Kiambu County.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, August 11, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) disclosed that the six people arrested include one Indian national, two Pakistani nationals and three Kenyan citizens.
“Detectives from the Operations Support Unit (OSU) have arrested six suspects and rescued three Indian nationals who had been reported missing after arriving in Kenya on August 5, 2026,” the DCI stated.
DCI Headquarters, Nairobi Photo DCIThe Indian nationals had reportedly arrived in the country on August 5 and were reported missing after leaving Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).
The latest operation comes weeks after the DCI dismantled alleged sexual exploitation operations in Nairobi and Kajiado counties, rescuing a total of 53 women.
