With the USSSA season wrapped up, all eyes now shift to Morogoro, Tanzania, where the 2026 FEASSA Games will kick off on 15th August, 2026. All three teams head to Tanzania eager to stamp their names on the first-ever East Africa schools lacrosse championship trophy and bring joy and pride to the nation. “This tournament is historic,” said Douglas Nyakaana, General Secretary of the Uganda Lacrosse Association. “It’s a testament to the growth of the game of Lacrosse in East Africa in just four years since we introduced lacrosse to USSSA national championships.” The Africa Sixes Championship is set for December in Johannesburg, South Africa, and several players have already been called up to the national team training squad.
