HQJackie, a bald eagle that had made her way to internet stardom, has sadly died. The eagle was brought into Ojai Raptor Center in California, a rehabilitation organisation after she was attacked by other eagles. Underlying health issues caused Jackie to suffer from amnesia and weight loss. First hatched in 2012, Jackie was frequently spotted in the Big Bear Valley in California, appearing on the Big Bear Eagle Nest Cam consistently with her partner Shadow. The pair had been mates since 2018, according to the Friends of Big Bear Valley website.
