The attack took place last week, and did compromise the information of Valve users in the EU. "Expect fake messages - email, SMS or phone - that mention your hardware order and appear to come from Steam, Valve or a delivery company. Treat all of them as fake," Valve writes. It's noted that outside investigators have been brought in, and all affected systems have been taken offline by CEVA since the attack took place. Basically, keep an eye on your emails if you're a Valve hardware owner in Europe, and watch out for anything trying to take your personal information.
