Ugandan goalkeeper Tom Ikara has joined Kenyan side AFC Leopards in the ongoing transfer window. “We have completed the signing of an Ugandan international goalkeeper from Uganda Premier League side Bul FC,” the statement partly reads. According to the club, Ikara has also played for Ethiopian Giants Sidama Coffee, KCCA FC and Police FC in Uganda. Ikara joins the Leopards, replacing former Ugandan goalkeeper Cleo James Ssetuba, who only served the club for one year. Having finished second in the Kenya Premier League, the Leopards have strengthened their squad ahead of a highly anticipated campaign where they will go all out to chase the title.
