This hot weather is only set to continue this week with temperatures set to reach lofty highs of 35°C on Thursday (August 13) with still no rain in sight. That is according to the Met Office which also forecasts a peak of 33°C for tomorrow (Wednesday, August 12) with full sun and clear skies on both days. Met Office Chief Forecaster Jason Kelly said: Heat will gradually build this week, with temperatures reaching into the mid-30s Celsius in what will be a fairly widespread heatwave for England and Wales. The adverse weather comes amid a temporary hosepipe ban which was put in place across the county and beyond by Thames Water back in July. These restrictions prohibit non-essential hosepipe use, such as watering gardens and washing cars, and remain active with no confirmed end date yet.
