Govt to honour Panduga Sayanna’s legacy: Vakiti

The announcement was made during a meeting held along with Mudiraj Corporation Chairman Borra Gyaneshwar.
The meeting was attended by Panduga Sayanna’s biographer Indiramma, former ZPTC member Bekkam Janardhan, Telangana Mudiraj Mahasabha district president Mettukadi Prabhakar, Panduga Sayanna Social Service Society president Krishna Mudiraj, and Sayanna’s descendants Narsimlu, Chennayya, and Srinivas, among others.
Addressing the gathering, Vakiti said the government is committed to preserving Panduga Sayanna’s legacy and introducing his sacrifices to future generations.
He stated that the committee would examine historical and scientific evidence to resolve the long-standing ambiguity over the dates of Sayanna’s birth and death anniversaries.
The decision was welcomed by admirers of Panduga Sayanna, members of the Bahujan community, and those who have worked to preserve his history.
