Pregis has acquired MP Global Packaging, a business unit of MP Global Products, in a move that adds to its fibre-based packaging operations. MP Global Packaging runs two manufacturing sites in the US, located in New Albany, Indiana; and Norfolk, Nebraska, and has 110 employees. MP Global Packaging division lead Reid Borgman will join Pregis as vice-president and cold chain general manager. “Sustainable, fibre-based materials are an increasingly important part of our portfolio, and cold chain packaging is a natural extension of that strategy.
