HQThere have been a few major casting news doing the rounds for the live-action The Legend of Zelda movie as of recent, not least in the confirmation of who will be playing Ganondorf and also the reveal the late Sam Neill will have one final role in the project too.
But now another major story has broken and this one claims Samara Weaving, who is reportedly set to play Emma Frost in the X-Men reboot, is in fact part of the project too and will be taking on the mantle of the Goddess Hylia.
The casting news was broken by insider Daniel Richtman, which means until there is a firm confirmation from any of the parties involved, we should take the information with a degree of caution.
Still, if it is to be accurate, this would mean Weaving is currently slated to join two of the biggest theatrical franchises coming up, seeing the actress take a huge leap into more mainstream projects after formerly working on smaller scale projects like Ready or Not, Carolina Caroline, and Over Your Dead Body.
Do you think Weaving is a good casting for Hylia?
