Two Men Charged in Separate Drug CasesPolice have arrested and charged two men in separate drug cases after operations in Santa Elena and Punta Gorda led to the seizure of suspected cocaine and crack cocaine. Twenty-four-year-old Christopher Bolon of Santa Elena has been charged with possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply. In a separate case, 59-year-old Mark Lopez of Punta Gorda Town has been charged with two counts of possession of controlled drugs with intent to supply to another. Smith said police executed a search warrant at Lopez’s residence on Friday, August 7, where they found two quantities of suspected crack cocaine. Both men have since been formally arrested and charged as police continue their efforts to crack down on the possession and distribution of controlled drugs.
