The merged frameworks include Cloud Compute 2 along with Lots 1 to 3 and Lot 4 of G-Cloud 14. The framework is valued at approximately £14 billion over a four-year term, with an estimated £3 billion in public sector cloud spending passing through it annually. To support smaller vendors, G-Cloud 15 introduces flexible entry measures designed to lower traditional entry barriers to government contracting. Unlike previous iterations that locked out new suppliers for long periods, growing businesses can now join G-Cloud 15 during an 18-month reopening window after launch. This pre-screening gives public sector buyers confidence to award contracts without performing lengthy individual assessments, while retaining the option to run further competitions for specific project requirements
