The hallways were once again filled with smiles, excitement, and the sound of learning as students across Paris ISD returned to campus Thursday morning to begin the 2026-2027 school year. Across Paris ISD, students reached exciting milestones on their educational journey—from our youngest learners attending school for the very first time at Lamar County Head Start and T. G. Givens to freshmen taking their first steps into high school. Every day is an opportunity to learn something new, build meaningful relationships, and become the very best version of yourself. Teachers, administrators, and staff were ready to greet students and help make the first day a positive experience for every Wildcat. As the school year gets underway, Paris ISD remains committed to providing a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
