For the MVIThe final Summer on Main Block Party of the season will take place from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in downtown Monongahela. The event will also feature a 50/50 raffle benefiting the Toth family. Raffle tickets may be purchased on the day of the event at the Mon Valley Alliance building, 235 W. Main St., or at 1837 Botanicals, located at 168 W. Main Street. “We have enjoyed seeing the community come together throughout the Summer on Main Block Parties this summer, and we hope everyone will join us for one final evening downtown,” said Amanda Altamare, event organizer. Summer on Main Block Parties are designed to bring residents and visitors into downtown Monongahela to enjoy local entertainment, connect with their neighbors and support the businesses and organizations that help make the community special.
