TBT DESK: M A Kashem has been re-elected chairman of the board of directors of Southeast Bank PLC. Kashem is the founder chairman and sponsor director of Southeast Bank. Kashem served for an extended period as a member of the Board of Trustees of Hamdard Laboratories (Waqf) Bangladesh. Through the M Kashem Trust, he has supported education for primary and secondary-level students in his locality. Kashem is a member of Kurmitola Golf Club, Baridhara Cosmopolitan Club Ltd, Gulshan Club Ltd, Rotary Club of Dhaka West, National Shooting Club and Bangladesh Diabetic Association.
