Nigerian local refineries received 53.7 million barrels of crude oil and condensate between April and June 2026, representing 97.4 per cent of the volumes allocated under the Domestic Crude Supply Obligation. The Dangote Refinery accounted for the overwhelming share of crude offered to domestic refiners, accepting 52.6 million barrels during the three months despite being offered 68.1 million barrels. Producers were allocated 18.78 million barrels and offered 23.19 million barrels, but local refineries received only 14.23 million barrels, representing 75.8 percent of the allocation. The situation improved again in June, when producers were allocated 18.17 million barrels and offered 26.84 million barrels. According to NUPRC, the refinery required 63 million barrels of crude between April and June, while producers offered 68.1 million barrels.
