An inter-city bus in Dublin city centre was evacuated on Tuesday morning following a fire on board. The incident is understood to have happened at around 9am on the Morehampton Road in Dublin. A statement from Dublin Fire Brigade confirmed they received reports at 09.08am and the incident was wrapped up by 10.05am. Dublin Bus confirmed a bus on the Route E1 caught fire on Tuesday morning, and all passengers were evacuated. They added that the Morehampton Road was closed for a period of time, but has since reopened.
