ON Tuesday, August 4 at approximately 10:49 p.m., Langley RCMP responded to a serious collision involving a sport utility vehicle and a commercial truck at the intersection of 256 Street and 16 Avenue in Langley. Emergency crews, including personnel from the Township of Langley Fire Department, British Columbia Ambulance Service, and Langley RCMP, attended the scene and provided assistance. “This was a tragic collision that resulted in the loss of two lives,” said Sgt. Zynal Sharoom of Langley RCMP. The collision resulted in overnight road closures and significant traffic disruptions in the area while investigators examined the scene.
