SPORT Integrity Canada has announced that wrestler Amarveer Dhesi received a two-year sanction for an anti-doping rule violation. In response to Sport Integrity Canada’s notification of the anti-doping rule violation, the athlete requested a hearing to determine the violation and whether the proposed sanction period should be eliminated or reduced. On June 9, arbitrator Carol Roberts confirmed the violation and imposed a two-year sanction. As provisional suspension was imposed on the athlete, the sanction ends on March 30, 2028.
