Bhatkal: The Jumbo Circus, currently underway at the Venkatapur ground in Bhatkal, will hold three shows daily at 1 pm, 4 pm and 7 pm.
The circus will continue in Bhatkal for one month, allowing visitors to attend a show at their convenience, manager Titus Varghese said at a press conference on Monday.
Varghese said the circus has adapted its programmes following the ban on animal performances by bringing in skilled artists from different countries and regions.
He said the Jumbo Circus began its first show on October 2, 1977, in Dhanapur, Bihar, under the leadership of M.V.
Assistant manager Mohammed Shaji and African artist Stefano Godrey Isai, along with Manipur artists, were present at the press conference.
