Eight fire engines had been sent to Park Hall Country Park on Sunday afternoon as smoke once again poured from the attraction. ‌And Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service say they battled a huge scrubland and grassland blaze measuring around 100 metres by 100 metres. Commenting on the Park Hall incident Martin Weaver, head of operations, said: "Crews have worked through the night to extinguish pockets of fire. “To allow access for our fire appliances, we are asking people to not travel along Hulme Road, between the village and Park Hall Road.”
