During Monday night’s meeting, the Smithville Planning Commission adopted a final subdivision plat for property on Wade Street by the Upper Cumberland Habitat for Humanity. Tommy Lee, Director of the Upper Cumberland Development District, who serves as UCDD staff planner and advisor to the City of Smithville, reported to the planning commission prior to the vote that the proposed subdivision complies with the city’s zoning ordinance and subdivision regulations. Lot 3 is 7,596 square feet currently vacant and lot 4 is 0.23 acres and 9,907 square feet currently vacant.
