And parts of the UK could see highs of 36C as the latest heatwave moves in. ‌Today and the amber heat-health alert from the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) came in across Staffordshire. In its latest forecast for Stoke-on-Trent the service says the Potteries will see a high of 28C today (August 11), 32C tomorrow and 33C on Thursday. In its longer range forecast the BBC says next week will see highs in the early twenties.
