A FAMILY from Lavender Hill is desperate for answers after their disabled son died under mysterious circumstances while staying at an apparent unregistered rehabilitation facility.
Fisher told the Daily Voice the allegations against BGB Health and Rose Parenting were “geheel en al” unfounded.
Fisher admitted the facility is not registered with the Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness, but claimed it was registered nationally.
Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness spokesperson Dwayne Evans confirmed BGB Health and Rose Parenting is not registered with the department.
“BGB Health and Rose Parenting has never submitted such an application to the WCDHW and has never been licensed by the WCDHW,” Evans said.
