Marquette, MI – August 5, 2026 – Activities at Northern Michigan University are ramping up as the campus prepares for the Fall 2026 semester. NMU President Dr. Chris Olsen spoke about the upcoming semester with Mark & Walt in the Morning. Olsen reminded everyone that the move-in date for students is August 20th and the semester begins on August 24th. He also talked about the current enrollment challenges facing NMU and the initiatives they are launching in an effort to overcome them. Olsen shared a campus facilities construction update and gave a brief overview of recent and upcoming Wildcat athletic events and games.
