PARSIPPANY — A Newfoundland woman was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated on Thursday, June 25 after officers found her asleep behind the wheel of a car stopped near a Wells Fargo bank on Route 46 East.
Patrolman Jeffrey Williams and Patrolman Caccavale responded and located the vehicle, a silver 2027 Hyundai bearing Virginia plates.
Lenney was found sitting in the driver’s seat and appeared to be falling asleep while speaking with officers.
She told officers she had driven the vehicle to the location.
During the Horizontal Gaze Nystagmus test, Lenney showed zero of six possible clues.
