VPD responded to 25 calls for service in the past week. During the week of July 26th to August 1st, two arrests were reported by theValentine Police Department:At 8:20 PM on July 27th, an officer responded to a shoplifting complaint in the 700block of East Highway 20. A 30 year old South Dakota man was arrested and chargedwith Theft by Shoplifting and Criminal Impersonation. At 2:30 AM on August 1st, a traffic stop near the intersection of 3rd and HallStreets lead to the arrest of a 24 year old Maryland woman for the offense ofDriving Under the Influence of Alcohol.
