HANOVER TOWNSHIP — A Dover man faces drug and traffic charges after a traffic stop in Hanover Township led to the discovery of suspected ecstasy, according to police.
Police said the incident occurred on Tuesday, July 21, when an officer on patrol observed a suspicious vehicle and followed it.
After witnessing several traffic violations, the officer stopped the vehicle, driven by John Casiano, 45, of Dover.
During the investigation, the officer developed reasonable suspicion that Casiano was being untruthful and requested consent to search the vehicle, police said.
Officers searched the vehicle and found a powder substance believed to be ecstasy, police said.
