The Heart City Creative District continues to enhance the downtown Valentine area. Recently the 130 by 16-foot mural was finished depicting the culture and natural beauty of the area. Jamie Eggert gave an update on the community theater project in the downtown area. Economic Development Director Mark Hagge also reported that they continue to pursue housing opportunities and offer revolving business loans and façade grants to businesses. The latest housing project in the Western part of Valentine could include up to a dozen homes in the future.
