QUESTIONS are being raised over the death of a 46-year-old Capricorn woman who collapsed and died at Muizenberg police station on Saturday night after police attended an intimidation complaint at her home. According to police, the woman was taken to the station for her safety following an altercation at the house. According to Turner, police attended an intimidation complaint in Capricorn involving family members who allegedly became increasingly “vocal, verbally abusive and aggressive”. Two officers then took the involved family members to the station in an effort to de-escalate the situation. Turner wysed the matter was resolved and the family members were allowed to leave.
