WOKHA, AUG 10 (NPN): Lotha Youth Hoho (LYH) on August 10 conducted visits to various government offices in Wokha and Bhandari as a follow up to its recent directive calling for strict adherence to office timings and addressing complaints of irregular attendance among government employees. In Wokha, the Hoho inspected the offices of the Deputy Commissioner, PWD (R&B), PWD (Mechanical), PWD (Housing), Legal Metrology, Statistical, Treasury, Art & Culture, Labour, District Information & Public Relations (DIPR), DSCO, District Youth Resource, and Food & Civil Supplies departments. The Rural Development Block Office, Bhandari, was also found closed. It informed departments that follow up visits would be conducted to monitor adherence to prescribed office timings and document instances of irregular attendance, which may be reported to competent authorities. The Hoho reiterated that it would continue to raise concerns over irregularities in government offices in the interest of public welfare and accountability.
