The short film was created from footage of French's Sounds From a Safe Harbour residency in 2023. A new short film will be released tomorrow, August 11, to mark the second anniversary of the passing of Eoin French - the Cork-native electro-pop musician who performed under the name Talos. The short film was created from behind-the-scenes footage of Talos’s Sounds From a Safe Harbour (SFSH) festival residency. In 2023, he collaborated with Ólafur Arnalds, Niamh Regan, and Ye Vagabonds on the neoclassical song 'We Didn't Know We Were Ready' during the residency. His 2023 residency served as the launching pad for his collaborative posthumous album with Ólafur Arnalds called A Dawning, which was released in May of last year.
