Johnstown, Pennsylvania - Barbara R. (Verrone) Labarko, 78, of Johnstown, went home to be with the Lord on July 29, 2026 at 12:49 a.m. Born June 30, 1948 in Johnstown, daughter of Samuel & Helen (Knaze) Verrone. Survived by her loving children Jack (Zoe Tang-Labarko), Aaron Elvis, Derek (Tara & Landon), Barbara Ann "Barbie"and Brent. Barbara was a 1966 graduate of Greater Johnstown High School and a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish (formerly St. Anthony's in Woodvale). Barbara & Jack founded "The Jack and Barbara Labarko's Oldies Show" in 1979, now known as "DJ Jack Labarko;" while Jack was laid off from Bethlehem Steel, after the 1977 flood. Barbara was the inspiration behind incorporating the Elvis routine into the family Disc Jockey business.
