A casual meeting between Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna and former Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter has stirred fresh political discussion, after the two leaders shared photographs and exchanged pointed political slogans on social media. Keter, who has emerged as one of President William Ruto’s outspoken critics, replied with his now familiar slogan: “Wantam Is Wantam! The meeting comes as opposition figures continue consultations on how best to organise themselves before the next presidential contest. Against that backdrop, Sifuna’s meeting with Keter has naturally drawn interest, although neither politician has suggested that a formal political alliance has been reached. Beyond the social media slogans, neither Sifuna nor Keter has outlined any political agreement or shared agenda arising from their meeting.
