Plans to turn a regional daily’s old office into a dental surgery have been delayed.
An amended building warrant application has been submitted to Inverclyde Council for the redevelopment of the Greenock Telegraph’s former Crawfurd Street office.
Orangefield Dental Care previously secured a building warrant to convert the former newspaper office into a dental clinic.
The building served as the newspaper’s home for 57 years after opening as a purpose-built office and printing works in 1968.
The amended building warrant application is currently pending consideration by Inverclyde Council’s building standards team.
