Born September 21, 1942, at home in Ebensburg, the son of Anthony and Mary (Lee) Amadei. Bill was a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, the Bakerton Rod & Gun Club, and the Carrolltown Firemen's Club. Throughout his life, Bill held a variety of jobs and was known as a hardworking man who took pride in whatever he did. He worked as a woodsman at his father's lumber mill, Amadei Lumber; he was also known as the Breadman for Marhoefer's Bread Route and he also lent a helping hand at Barr Ridge Farms. For many years, Bill also served as the caretaker of St. Nicholas Cemetery, a responsibility he took great pride in.
