The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued alerts for heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and strong winds in more than 10 states, including Delhi-NCR, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar. Areas including Rajgarh, Vidisha and Sehore in Madhya Pradesh may witness heavy rainfall within the next 24 hours. In Odisha, coastal regions are likely to witness heavy rainfall till August 16 due to a low-pressure system developing over the Bay of Bengal.
