The final trailer has been released for Pressure, a World War II drama that centers on the events leading up to D-Day. The film, directed by Anthony Maras (Hotel Mumbai), stars Dublin-born BAFTA Award winner Andrew Scott, Tipperary-born Academy Award nominee Kerry Condon and Academy Award winner Brendan Fraser. Pressure is based on true historical events and the 2014 stage play of the same name written by David Haig. “With only his trusted aide Captain Kay Summersby (Kerry Condon) to confide in … the final decision rests with Supreme Allied Commander Dwight D. Eisenhower (Brendan Fraser). The cast also sees Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner Damian Lewis in the role of Field Marshall Bernard Montgomery and Chris Messina as Irving P. Krick, Eisenhower’s trusted wartime meteorologist.
