Loretto, Pennsylvania - CHANCLER - Joseph, TOR, a member of the Franciscan Friars of the Third Order Regular, Province of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, was called home to the Lord on Aug. 7, 2026, at the age of 74. Born in Tampa, FL, Father Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ella Mae (O'Brien) Chancler, and 14 aunts and uncles. He is survived by his brother, Ronald Chancler; brother, James Chancler; 11 cousins; friends; and his Franciscan Community. After the Mass, interment will take place at the Franciscan Friars' Cemetery on the campus of St. Francis University, Loretto.
