A broadband outage that disrupted thousands of properties across Auckland’s North Shore has been resolved, Chorus has confirmed. Chorus said the network change had been carried out in the early hours but was rolled back after problems emerged. Chorus' outage and faults map showed that many of the affected services had subsequently been restored. One New Zealand also confirmed that its customers had regained access to fibre broadband services. In a statement, the company said, "Service has now been fully restored for our fibre broadband customers," as quoted by 1News.
