The Indian government announced 11 new international points of entry.
India has increased its e-visa entry ports to 88, comprising 37 airports, 38 seaports, and 13 land ports, to simplify travel for international visitors.
New entry points include Tirupati and Attari (Road).
However, the facility is not available for Pakistani passport holders or those of Pakistani origin, who must apply for a regular visa.
The government assures internal security remains uncompromised, anticipating increased foreign travel to holy sites and the Northeast.
