Northern Railway’s Jammu division has achieved its highest-ever single-day punctuality rate for Mail and Express trains, recording an impressive 94.12 per cent on July 31, 2026, an official said on Monday. The milestone surpasses its previous best of 92.59 per cent recorded on February 20, 2025, marking a significant achievement in operational efficiency, a spokesman of the Jammu Division said. The official attribute the historic success directly to the flawless synergy between ground staff and core management teams. Looking ahead, he said the Jammu Division remains fully committed to maintaining this momentum, leveraging advanced technology, and ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable travel for the millions of passengers arriving from every corner of the nation. Meanwhile, 11 frontline commercial department employees of Jammu division were honored with certificates of appreciation and commendation letters for their exceptional performance in recent months.
