Dan Aldridge, the town's Labour MP, hosted his second annual event at Weston College for 15 to 18-year-olds from his constituency. Mr Aldridge said: "I'm incredibly proud to have hosted my second Summer School and to see so many talented young people from across Weston getting involved. "My job is to help create opportunities and open doors, and that's exactly what this Summer School is about." The summer school is part of Mr Aldridge’s broader work to support youth opportunities in Weston-super-Mare. His wider efforts include partnering with Weston College, employers, and local businesses to improve pathways into employment and enterprise.
