The Mendip Lodge has donated £2,000 to It’s in the Bag Cancer Support (IITB), which helps men across the region affected by testicular cancer. Mr Garland said: "Support like this makes a real and lasting difference to the men and families we work with. "We’re hugely grateful to Paul Philcox and everyone at Mendip Lodge for their generosity and the heartfelt welcome we received. During the evening, Mr Hellings shared his personal experience of testicular cancer, while Mr Garland gave a parent’s perspective on the impact of a diagnosis. Special thanks were extended to lodge members Paul Philcox, Ray Beckingham and Barry Goodyer, as well as Rosemary Philcox, for their hospitality and commitment to community support.
