The complainant, Amita (50), is an Anganwadi worker serving as a Booth Level Officer and is currently engaged in the SIR exercise. She is a resident of Shiriyara village in Brahmavar. According to the complaint, the incident took place at the Village Administrative Officer’s office in Shiriyara, where Amita was carrying out official work. Police said the accused, identified as Sudheendra Shetty, allegedly entered the office and demanded to see the list prepared for the inclusion and deletion of names in the electoral rolls. Based on the complaint, Kota Police have registered a case under Sections 132, 74, 352, and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
