Whitesboro - Douglas Roger "Rogers" Woolsey, 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, July 27, 2026. Born on August 19, 1935, in Sadler, Texas, Rogers was the son of Floyd Marcus Woolsey and Jessie Rebecca (Welch) Woolsey. His church family meant the world to him, and he found great joy in organizing church trips, fellowships, and special events that brought people together. Outside of church, Rogers had a passion for remodeling homes and took great pride in every project he tackled. Rogers was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Jessie Woolsey; his beloved son, Damon Woolsey; brother, Wayne Woolsey; sister, Florence Woolsey; his in-laws, Evorie and Bill Graham; and his in-laws, Glen and Ruby Graham.
