Eight Lounge café-bars across Somerset are offering children free cereal breakfasts during the school summer holidays under a new nationwide scheme. The Little Loungers Breakfast Club, run by the Lounges chain in partnership with Kellogg’s, allows families to claim a free bowl of Corn Flakes, Bran Flakes or Rice Krispies for children until the start of the new school term in September. Sarah Lake, chief marketing officer at Loungers, said: "School holidays can really stretch family budgets, so we wanted to do something genuinely helpful for our community. "Partnering with Kellogg’s means we can offer a balanced breakfast in a warm, friendly space where families can relax, chat and enjoy time together. Families are advised to check whether their nearest branch is participating before visiting.
